The Cardinal Newman High School Chapel is the first dedicated student chapel on campus—conceived to provide a sacred space for worship, reflection, and spiritual development. Built in the aftermath of the 2017 Tubbs Fire, the chapel stands as a symbol of resilience and renewal for the school and its broader community. GMH Builders was honored to construct this important addition to the campus, supporting the school’s mission to educate the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
GMH Builders delivered a ground-up construction project that integrates seamlessly into the school’s central campus. Designed with a traditional architectural style, the chapel complements the existing campus buildings while distinguishing itself as a dedicated spiritual space. The project included coordination with the school and architectural team to ensure liturgical integrity and functional design.
